The Protokey can be ordered and used by anyone. However, use is strictly at your own responsibility. Connecting external devices like keyboards or protocol sticks to the CarPC is not favored by RD GmbH (RKT). There is therefore no official approval or recommendation for use in the RKT field service. Responsibility for usage and compliance with internal guidelines lies entirely with each user.
Protokey is purely an input device that is recognized by the connected system like a normal keyboard. Output is generated through simulated keystrokes, just as if the text were typed manually. No programs are installed, no data is read, and no malware is transmitted. The device is solely meant to support protocol writing through automated text input.
Note: Protokey is shipped only. To ensure ordering and delivery go smoothly, the order form must be filled out completely and correctly, including the full delivery address (name, street, house number, postal code, city, and country). Shipping costs are paid by the buyer and are listed separately on the invoice.
